Every single moment of your life has brought you to exactly where you are now.
The pain, the tragedies, the mistakes, the heartache, the wins, the losses, the happiest moments, your worst times, your best times, and all of those moves that you were afraid to make.
You’re here today wondering what next.
You’re here after everything you’ve been through thinking where do I go from here.
How do I possibly start again?
Maybe you’re stuck in an endless loop of thoughts, or maybe you’ve been searching but you just can’t find the answers.
The truth is, you’ve probably been looking in all the wrong places.
Because what you’re looking for already exists within you; it’s been there this whole time.
Maybe you were too busy looking externally that you forgot to look inside.
Any of the pieces that you thought formed part of who you were that have fallen away, were simply pieces that weren’t for you.
What you’re left with is you.
The real and raw person that is really who you are; that’s what you’re left with.
It’s the core of your being, and as much as the people and the things around you change, and maybe you've changed a little bit, the core of who you really are doesn’t…
There’s no point chaining yourself to a past that no longer exists and that can no longer be changed; it’s gone.
The only way to move forward is by looking through the lens of who you are.
It’s by looking through the strength, courage, resilience, wisdom, and compassion that you didn’t know you had before.
It’s remembering that this is now a part of who you are, and this already exists within you.
It’s understanding that looking through the lens of your anger, bitterness, and resentment, even though it’s probably valid, is what’s actually holding you back.
You’re not negating, dismissing, or forgetting what happened by doing this, you’re simply making the decision to reclaim who you are, your life, your worth, and your power.
Darkness exists, but it’s really just a lacking of light.
The light that you’re looking for is you and who you’ve become.
So look back one last time, it doesn’t mean you have to forget, but once you’re done let go and don’t get lost staring; because what lies ahead of you is going to be much more interesting than anything behind you…
